In compliance with Decree-Law no. 109-E/2021, of December 9, and Law no. 93/2021, of December 20, MEO Group has a whistleblowing channel that ensures the anonymity and protection of whistleblowers, in accordance with the provisions of the General Regime for the Protection of Whistleblowers, in relation to the following matters:

  • Public procurement
  • Violent and highly organized and/or economic-financial crime
  • Consumer protection
  • Fraud, Corruption and/or Related Offenses
  • Radiation protection and nuclear safety
  • Protection of privacy and personal data
  • Environmental protection
  • European Union Internal Market rules, including competition and state aid rules
  • Public health
  • Network and information systems security
  • Food and feed safety, animal health and welfare
  • Transport safety
  • Product safety and compliance
  • Financial services, products and markets, prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing

Improper practices that go against the good practices contained in the MEO Group Code of Ethics and Conduct can also be reported, for which the anonymity of the person reporting the situation will be ensured, in relation to the following matters:

  • Community support actions
  • Harassment (moral and/or sexual)
  • Working conditions, safety or health at work
  • Inappropriate conduct
  • Conflict of interest
  • Discrimination and/or Prejudice
  • Information on sustainable consumption
  • Freedom of expression or association
  • Misuse of resources
  • Violation of Rules of Ethics and Conduct and Deontology
