Consent Management Portal

The processing and control of your data are important to us.
Some applications (apps) and portals that you access daily via your cell phone perform certain operations and/or transactions that require the processing of personal data and traffic data belonging to the cell phone’s cardholder. To carry out this processing, MEO requires its customers’ authorization to verify certain data related to these operations.

For example, if you carry out a transaction with your bank and the bank needs to verify certain information regarding the cell phone number you are using, that verification can be performed automatically through the respective electronic communications provider, in order to ensure the security of transactions and prevent fraud.

The Consent Management Portal was created to ensure MEO complies with its legal obligations and to enable its customers to view and manage, in a simple and secure manner, the consents related to the processing of their data.

On this Portal, customers can view all the consents they have granted, associated with their respective Applications and Portals, as well as grant or revoke authorizations whenever they wish.

On the Consent Management Portal, you can:

View the Applications and Portals that have requested access to the data

View active permissions

Grant or revoke consent

The Consent Management Portal will be available on this page starting October 20, 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the Consent Management Portal, and how does it work?

The Consent Management Portal allows you to view and manage, all in one place, the consents you have granted in connection with certain operations and/or transactions carried out using your MEO mobile number.

Through this Portal, you can:

  • Check which apps you have given consent to and which are linked to your MEO cell phone number.
  • View active consents and their corresponding applications.
  • Grant or revoke consent.

This way, you have insight into and control over the use of data associated with your MEO mobile service.

2. How do I access it?

Starting October 20, 2026, you will be able to access the Consent Management Portal via the link that will be provided on this page.

To access the Consent Management Portal, use your MEO ID. If you don't have an MEO ID yet, you can create one using this link.

This authentication allows you to securely access all MEO websites and applications, as well as this Portal, ensuring that only you can view and manage your consents.

If you have multiple access cards (cell phone numbers), you can view and manage the permissions associated with each one, as well as with their respective apps.

If your cell phone number was assigned by your employer, you must also register using your MEO ID, as mentioned above.

3. Is there a cost to using the Portal?

No. Viewing and managing your consents on the Consent Management Portal is free of charge.

Operations and transactions carried out on third-party applications are subject to the contractual and commercial terms set by the respective entities. For more information, you should always consult the Terms and Conditions provided by each application.

4. How do you manage your consents?

Whenever a third-party application and/or portal needs to use the data associated with your access card (cell phone number), MEO will process that data in accordance with your consent.

On this portal, you can view information regarding each consent and perform the following actions:

  • Check the status of all consents (active and inactive).
  • Change your consent settings (active and inactive).

Withdrawing consent in a specific Application or Portal does not imply its uninstallation or deactivation from the customer’s device. However, the right to refuse or withdraw consent for the processing of your data will prevent access to such data and its transmission to third parties, which may limit or render unavailable certain operations, transactions, or features of those Applications or Portals.

Any changes made in the Consent Management Portal may not take effect immediately. Given the large number of applications involved and depending on the systems concerned, it may take some time for these updates to be reflected in all systems.

5. What apps are featured on this portal?

This list shows the apps and websites you use on your cell phone that you have granted access to your data for the purposes specified within them.

These Apps are owned by and are the sole responsibility of third parties. To find out how each one uses your personal and traffic data, please review their respective Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

On the Consent Management Portal, you will be able to view and manage the consents you have granted to those Apps.

6. What data can be shared, and how is it protected?

Each application will process only the data strictly necessary for the purpose(s) you have authorized.

For example, in connection with various operations and/or transactions carried out by these Applications, the following may be performed:

  • Confirmation of the access card number (SIM card) used to access the app.
  • Check to see if the SIM card used for this operation has been replaced recently.
  • Identification of the type or condition of the mobile equipment used.

Only the personal and traffic data for which you have given your consent will be shared with these Apps. All such processing will be carried out securely.

7. Is it possible to process data without consent?

In situations where data processing is based on legitimate interests—specifically when it is intended solely to prevent and detect security and fraud incidents—your explicit consent is not required for such processing.

However, even in these cases, you may review the information provided on the Consent Management Portal and choose to opt out and prevent processing based on legitimate interest.

Any other data processing carried out by MEO that involves sharing such data with other entities will require the customer’s prior consent, to be provided through the aforementioned Portal after receiving a “ text ” from MEO to that effect.
