Launched in 2023, the Partilha home initiative home providing unique experiences of coexistence and companionship between students and seniors, contributing to more accessible and humane housing solutions. As the promoter and facilitator of the project, the brand provides the national platform, fosters partnerships, and guarantees special connectivity conditions for those who share home, reinforcing the social impact of the initiative.
With a view to reinforcing this role, the Fundação MEO MOCHE are launching the "Deu Match" campaign between January 7 and February 28, inspired by the world of dating apps. With an irreverent and relaxed tone, the campaign communicates Partilha home a clear and appealing way, reaching out to the university audience and reinforcing MOCHE's connection to the student world. The message is simple: for each person, there is always a perfect match waiting to happen.
Throughout the campaign, which will be communicated on social media until the end of February, “Deu Match” explores the idea of perfect compatibility between seniors and young people, based on shared experiences and the creation of close relationships. The narrative and visual universe are inspired by the swiping and pairing logic of dating apps, transposing them into a context of positive social impact.
Results that speak for themselves
The initiative continues to yield very positive results, resulting in dozens of matches between university students and seniors.
These figures confirm the growing impact of the initiative and the increasing participation of different communities in intergenerational housing sharing, resulting in real stories of companionship, security, and belonging, both for those who welcome and those who arrive. To date, there have been 22 matches made through the Une.Idades program, 81 matches promoted by Rede 1/4 – Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and 6 matches made through the Abraço de Gerações program, for a total of 109 pairs formed. These figures confirm the growing impact of the initiative and the increasing participation of different communities in intergenerational accommodation sharing.
Throughout 2025, Partilha home its network of partnerships, integrating new entities such as Associação Laços para a Vida – Évora, the Public Security Police (PSP), Unilever, and Rede 1/4 da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. These partners join the founding programs, such as Une.Idades (Lisbon) and Abraço de Gerações (Coimbra), expanding the initiative's national reach.
