MEO has opened applications for the 2026 edition of the DarWiN Program, reaffirming its position as one of the leading talent incubators in the sector and issuing a clear call to the next generation: to actively participate in building Portugal’s digital future.
In a world marked by an ever-accelerating pace of technological change, MEO holds fast to a fundamental belief: people are the true driving force behind progress. It is through talent, knowledge, curiosity, and the courage to think differently that we build a more innovative organization, a stronger economy, and a more inclusive society—one that is prepared for the challenges of Society 5.0.
Applications opened on April 14 and are open to young people with a bachelor’s or master’s degree, particularly in STEM fields—Engineering, Information Technology, AI, and Data Science—but also in Management and related fields. We are looking for people who want to start their careers in a real-world, challenging, and impactful environment, where the work they do today directly contributes to the country of tomorrow.
Lasting 12 months, the DarWiN Program is a deeply immersive and cross-functional experience. From day one, trainees work on real-world projects, engaging directly with the business, cutting-edge technology, and inspiring leaders. Here, there are no predetermined paths: there are real challenges, room to experiment, the freedom to think differently, and the responsibility to turn ideas into action.
In 2026, MEO is opening 60 positions for a program that is much more than just training. DarWiN is a laboratory of the future, where innovation happens every day, learning is accelerated, and transformation is part of our DNA. It is an environment where Artificial Intelligence, data, and technology come together with purpose, collaboration, and a sense of impact.

Since its launch, the program has brought on board more than 300 young people, with over 200 continuing their careers at MEO—clear evidence of a consistent commitment to the skills that will shape the future of the industry, the workforce, and the country.
