With this new offer, MEO and MEO Energia customers will benefit from greater savings during sunny hours (prices from €0.13/kWh). At the same time, customers will also be able to take advantage of off-peak network access tariffs, which will also allow them to save on top-ups during the night. This innovative solution creates value for MEO and MEO Energia customers by helping to manage consumption at times when renewable energy is most available, helping to reduce consumption during periods of greater pressure on the electricity grid. Every day, at the end of the afternoon, MEO Energia will send a personalized email with the next day's prices, allowing customers to plan their vehicle charging in a convenient and economical way.
MEO Energia has maintained a strategy of continuous innovation. It is worth remembering that in March 2024 MEO Energia was a pioneer when it launched the first dynamic electricity tariff for domestic and business consumption, with values updated every 15 minutes according to the Iberian electricity market.

MEO Energia, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary, is an example of MEO's pioneering vision of convergence between telecommunications and energy. The end customer base grew to 188,000 in June 2025, an increase of 111,000 compared to the same period last year and 42,000 net new subscriptions since the beginning of the year. MEO Energia was the preferred supplier for families and companies in 9 of the last 12 months when they decided to change supplier. With this step, MEO Energia reinforces its commitment to the Digital and Energy Transition, offering solutions that combine savings, convenience and responsibility.
