MEO, the official operator and oldest sponsor of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) for over 25 years, will be present at the 2025 edition of the UEFA Women's European Football Championship, which will take place in Switzerland between July 2 and 27, reinforcing its commitment to national sport. More than reinforcing its commitment to sport, the brand is celebrating the path, effort and talent of the players who represent Portugal at the highest level.

To mark this historic moment, MEO surprised the players of the Women's National Team with an emotional and authentic campaign, starring their families and friends. This intimate and unexpected tribute gives a new dimension to the brand's message, bringing it even closer to the people and values it represents.

The main film, along with the making of the campaign, was presented first-hand at a special session at Cidade do Futebol, exclusively dedicated to the players. Their reactions were captured on video and will be shared on MEO's social networks, extending this unforgettable moment with the public.
This gesture sets the tone for MEO's new multi-media campaign - "Connect better with Portugal" - which launches today, June 18th. Present on television, press, radio, outdoor advertising, MEO stores, website and social networks, the campaign celebrates the authenticity, talent and unity surrounding national women's soccer, highlighting the emotional and genuine involvement of those who have always stood by the players.
With this close and differentiating approach, MEO reaffirms its support for sport as an engine of inclusion, diversity and equal opportunities. The campaign also includes a symbolic action in support of the national team: a themed bus will connect MEO's headquarters in Picoas to the City of Football every day, symbolizing the brand's connection to the journey, achievements and dreams of the National Women's Team.
