MEO Empresas challenges Portuguese to buy folar in their neighborhood store

In an appeal to what is most familiar and close to Portuguese Easter memories, MEO Empresas has launched a campaign to support small businesses. Through the slogan 'For a Local Easter', and following on from what it had already done, with great success, at Christmas, MEO Empresas is supporting traditional commerce, using its own communication channels to encourage families to buy from their local store, café or grocery store.

Continuing the brand's communication strategy, the campaign consolidates MEO Empresas ' position in this close relationship with SMEs and small sole proprietors.

In a strategy that once again uses technology at the service of humanization, the campaign is personalized through georeferencing, according to each region, city or street. Thus, anyone who visits MEO stores between now and April 4 will know the way to the folares, almonds and kid goats that will bring back the taste of childhood:

- When you visit a MEO store, from the north to the south of the country and the islands, the digital posters in the windows will show you directions to products and establishments in the area.

- On the MEO Empresas website, short films are shown and stories told, with a focus on promoting local products.

At a time when families traditionally get together and many travel to different regions of the country, MEO Empresas ' aim is to provide them with even more genuine moments and, in doing so, to help boost and breathe life into local economies, streets and businesses, preventing their erosion from erasing some of the Portuguese people's happiest memories.
