Since 2005, MEO has offered its customers the chance to convert their MEOS - points accumulated through the consumption of communications services - into donations for institutions working in areas such as health, social inclusion and the fight against socio-economic inequalities.

"The success of this initiative reflects the generosity and sense of social responsibility of our customers, as well as MEO's commitment to People as one of the brand's strategic pillars. The MEOS program not only strengthens the bond with our customers, but also creates a positive and significant social impact," says Luis Mestre, MEO's Chief Sales Officer B2C.

In 2024, 286,795 euros were raised in donations, distributed among 11 organizations:
- Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted Portugal (ACAPO)
- Rainha Santa Isabel Economic Kitchens Association (ACERSI)
- International Medical Assistance (AMI)
- Portuguese Association of Trisomy 21 Carriers (APPT21)
- Association of Women Against Violence (AMCV)
- Federation of Portuguese Cerebral Palsy Associations (FAPPC)
- Portuguese Federation of Deaf Associations (FPAS)
- Lar Marista de Ermesinde
- Portuguese League Against Cancer
- Refuge Aboim Ascensão
- League of Portuguese Firefighters.

Through the MEOS Program, MEO reaffirms itself as a brand with causes, promoting its purpose of "Connecting people to a more innovative, inclusive and sustainable life".

About the MEOS Program
The MEOS Program allows customers to accumulate points (MEOS) for every euro spent on MEO services, which they can exchange for equipment, experiences or donations to charities. This initiative reflects the brand's commitment to recognizing the loyalty of its customers while promoting positive social impact.
