Individual Expression of Interest Form

The " Comunicar em Segurança" Program is an initiative of the " Fundação MEO " that promotes digital literacy and a safer, more responsible, and more mindful use of the internet and technology.

The sessions are free, held exclusively online, last approximately one hour, are led by a network of volunteer trainers, and aim to promote safer, more informed, and more responsible use of digital technologies. The content will be tailored to the participants’ profiles and age groups and may cover topics such as: Preventing online scams and fraud; Identifying phishing attempts, suspicious messages, and contacts; Protecting privacy and personal data; Safe use of smartphones and digital services; Responsible use of social media; Preventing and responding to cyberbullying; Identifying misinformation and fake news; Adopting safe behaviors in the digital environment.

The sessions will be held provided that a minimum group of 10 participants is formed.

Technical Requirements for Online Sessions To participate in an online session, you will need: A device with internet access, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone; A stable internet connection; Speakers or headphones; A microphone, if the session includes opportunities for participation; A valid email address to receive the link and access instructions; Supervision by a responsible adult, when applicable to minor participants. Please fill out this form to express your interest in participating in a future session. After submission, the team at Fundação MEO will review your request and contact you to confirm the date and time.

If the expression of interest concerns a minor, the form must be completed by the minor’s legal representative.

Rules for Online Participation

  • The access link is personal and should not be shared publicly;
  • Participants must use a recognizable name or their first name;
  • Recording, photographing, or sharing the session without permission is not allowed;
  • Participants must follow the instructor's instructions;
  • Minors must participate under the conditions previously communicated to their legal representative;
  • Fundação MEO may restrict access in the event of inappropriate behavior;
  • Any recording by the organization must be announced in advance and approved.

Privacy Policy Fundação MEO is responsible for processing the personal data collected through this form.

The data will be processed to record and manage expressions of interest in the “Comunicar em Segurança” Program, identify sessions that may be suitable based on the individual’s profile, age group, location, availability, and indicated topics, and contact the interested party or, where applicable, their legal representative.

When the expression of interest concerns a minor, only the data of the minor that is strictly necessary for organizing their participation, as well as the data of their legal representative, may be processed. When it concerns an adult and the form is completed by a third party, the data of the data subject and the authorized person may be processed, provided that the authorized person has the necessary authorization to do so.

The information marked as required must be provided in order to register and track expressions of interest. This information may be accessed by Fundação MEO, by those responsible for organizing the sessions, and by technology service providers supporting the management of the form, only to the extent necessary.

The data will be retained for the period necessary to manage the expression of interest and for any additional time required to comply with legal obligations or exercise rights.
